The foundation of the Romania Plant investment was laid in 2016, and it commenced production in the first quarter of 2018. Located in the Pitești / Oarja Region of Romania on a 460,000 m² site, the plant produces MDF, laminated MDF (MDFlam), door panels, laminate flooring, and MDF doors with a production capacity of 420,000 m³ per year. Value-added products in its portfolio, such as laminate flooring, MDF doors, and door panels, are marketed with the "Made in Europe" label.
The plant has a production capacity of nearly 15 million square meters of flooring per month and 30 thousand doors. The goods produced at the facility are exported to many countries across Europe and Africa.
With its €170 million investment in Romania, Yıldız Entegre was also the recipient of the award for the largest investor in the country in the last 10 years.
