Yıldız Entegre, a global player in the forest products sector, continues to lead projects that bring together industry and academia. Believing that university-industry collaboration is of great importance for the development of the sector and the increase of innovative solutions in Turkey, the company has developed a joint R&D project with Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ) and Bartın University (BARÜ) within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Collaboration Support Program. The project has been approved by TÜBİTAK.
Academic collaboration for innovative and sustainable solutions
This project, which aims to build a bridge between universities and industry and increase knowledge and technology transfer, will add value to the sector by combining Yıldız Entegre's sustainability-focused production approach with the scientific research power of academia.
Melike Alkan, Deputy General Manager of Yıldız Entegre, emphasized the importance of industry-university collaboration in the sector, stating: “As one of the leading companies in the forest products sector, we continuously improve our wide product portfolio with an innovative perspective. We aim to create value both environmentally and economically by offering sustainability and efficiency-focused solutions. Collaborating with universities allows us to take our knowledge further. We believe that this project, carried out under the TÜBİTAK 1505 support program, will make significant contributions to the sector.
